About Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that takes place each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
The MLK CommUNITY participates in Giving Tuesday each year, inviting our community of supporters to make a gift that sustains our scholarships, community events, and outreach programs. Every contribution — large or small — helps us continue Dr. King's work in our community.
