Spare Change, Big Impact
Change for Change
The MLK CommUNITY's "Change for Change" program requests your donation of coins or cash to help feed the hungry in the greater Kennett Square and West Grove PA areas. All funds will be donated, at your preference, to the Kennett Food Cupboard and the West Grove Bridge Food Pantry.
Bring coins or cash to Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, 891 E. Baltimore Pike in Kennett Square on Saturday before MLK Day in January, or donate online anytime. The Kennett Food Cupboard provides three to six days worth of food to over 1,200 individuals each month. Cash donations allow food banks to secure healthy food — including fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins — at far greater value than retail purchases.

Year-Round Giving
Giving Tuesday & Community Campaign
The MLK CommUNITY participates in Giving Tuesday, the global generosity movement that takes place each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Our community campaign invites supporters to make a gift that sustains our programs and mission throughout the year.
Donations made through our Giving Tuesday campaign directly support scholarships, community events, and outreach programs. Every contribution — large or small — helps us continue Dr. King's work in our community and transform the world through radical generosity.

"Be A King" Volunteer Fair
Held each year on MLK Day, the "Be A King" Volunteer Fair connects community members with local nonprofits, civic organizations, and service opportunities. Volunteerism is at the heart of Dr. King's philosophy — this fair is our invitation to put that philosophy into action.
